Parish Council Agenda August 2016

Agenda for the Parish Council meeting to be held on Monday 8th August 2016 at 6.30pm in the Broad Town Village Hall.  Please feel  free to come along and put any views to the Council during the Public Question Time and if you are inspired, stay and listen to the debate of the remaining meeting.

Public Question Time – an opportunity for members of the public to address the Parish Council on any Council matter before the meeting commences. (Limited to 10 minutes)  Every effort will be made to give accurate answers to all questions, but in some cases further research may be necessary when an answer will be given by the Chairman as soon as is possible.

1. Declaration(s) of Interest:  To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Councils Code of Conduct as adopted July 2011.

1. Minutes:  To confirm and sign as a true record Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 11th July 2016. 

1. Planning Matters:  

1. 1. The Council is asked to note the following Planning Decisions made by Wiltshire Council, which may have not been previously reported.

• There have been no planning decisions received from Wiltshire Council since the last meeting.

1.     The Council is asked to consider the following Planning Applications submitted to Wiltshire Council since the last meeting.

•     16/06810/PNCOU Land at Thornhill, Royal Wootton Bassett

Notification for prior approval under class P - change of use of building from storage/distribution to dwelling

• 16/06549/FUL The Cow Byre, Broad Town Road, Broad Town

Erection of American Barn and change of use of land to equestrian use.

To erect an agricultural store

5    Highway Matters

    Receive an update on Parish Steward Scheme being implemented by Wiltshire Council in October, and to nominate any area needing attention under this scheme.

  6    Finance:  

• To note receipts since the last meeting
• To approve all payment requests since the last meeting
• To note the current Bank Balances
• To note available monies in the Good Energy Fund.

7    NEW-V Neighbourhood Plan

Verbal Update on progress of the North East Wiltshire Villages (NEW-V) Neighbourhood Plan since the departure of Lydiard Tregoz from the group.

8    Housing Survey

    A draft of the Housing Survey questionnaire has been circulated via e-mail and all members given the option of suggesting changes.  A final version will be brought to the meeting for agreement.

    Once the draft has been agreed the Council will be asked to set dates for the forms to be distributed and to consider a timescale for collating all the results.  

8    Village Newsletter 

    The Council is asked to discuss content for the Parish Newsletter and to nominate a member to write up the report.

9    Councillors Observations and Items for Next Meeting

    The next meeting of Broad Town Parish Council is scheduled for Monday 12th September 2016, at 6.30pm in Broad Town Village Hall.
